Red Wine by the GlassJust like comfort food, everyone needs a comfort wine or two—don’t you agree? Well, as you might expect, we have a suggestion (or two, or three!). And we’ll even go so far as to pair it with some excellent, homestyle cuisine at an upcoming Chef’s Comfort Food dinner!

Here’s the story: on Thursday, February 21st we’re proud to be hosting Matt Hughes from Six Sigma Ranch and Winery. Matt is flying out from California specifically to meet and greet you, our fantastic guests. And he’s bringing some excellent wine samples along with him! You’ll get to try out three from their Rancher series, and we’ll be offering a special deal on dine-in and retail bottles from their Cowboy series.

Six Sigma Ranch and Winery is located in Lake County, California. Their operation focuses on natural, sustainable farming, including vineyards. Matt has a decade of winemaking experience, and has been working with Six Sigma since 2009. When crafting wines, he strives to highlight the best traits of each vineyard and season. His knowledge of sustainable viticulture and the stories wine can tell is sure to lead to a number of interesting discussions next Thursday!

Six Sigma’s wines are friendly, approachable, and affordable. In addition, the two bottles we’ll be featuring that evening (the Sauvignon Blanc and the Cuvee) pair splendidly with Chef Bryce’s three-course pot roast dinner.
