Ahhh, March! One of these days the snow may melt and we’ll begin to see signs of spring. But even as we wait for it, wait for it… Here at Söntés, we’ll be taking you to distant lands with the return of Chef’s 5 for $40 menu! These daring 5-course dinner menus are back by popular demand!
Chef’s 5 for $40 includes five courses of specially-prepared indigenous cuisine (and a 25% discount on a bottle of wine of your choice to enjoy with your courses!). Naturally, we’ll have our full dinner menu available on 5 for $40 nights, so you can still order your favorite local fare alongside your destination cuisine.
On Thursday, March 20, Chef is preparing a Maine-inspired menu of oysters with lemon and Tabasco, chilled bean and potato salad, lobster roll, crab cakes with cranberry foam, and warm blueberry tart with vanilla bean Chantilly and rum Anglaise.
Philadelphia’s Brotherly Love
The menu for Thursday, March 27 comes from our Liberty Bell city of Philadelphia: soft pretzel and Water Ice, olive loaf and prosciutto, fried tomato ravioli made with artichoke pasta, beef cheek cheese steak made with caramelized onion and pepper focaccia, and honey-infused cannoli filled with sweet and salty strawberry cream.
As we will also offer our full dinner menu, no substitutions can be made on these special and intentional five courses. You don’t need a reservation to take part in the adventure, but they do tend to sell out.
Be sure to look for future menus to include inspiration from Tennessee, Georgia, and New Mexico to delight your senses and please your palate. The adventure awaits!
