Have you dropped by for dinner lately? If not, then you definitely should! We recently rolled out a reimagined menu courtesy the culinary inspiration of our new Head Chef, Trevor Garrett. Don’t worry: locally sourced, fresh ingredients are still very close to the heart of our restaurant. In fact, Chef Trevor loves working with local farmers, so you can still expect to find fine farm-to-table fare paired with excellent global flavors.
What’s changed, you ask? In a nut shell, you have more choices! It’s all about a flexible menu so that you can dine in exactly the way you want to.
We know that not everyone enjoys tapas style (or small plate) dining, so Chef Trevor has rearranged our menu so that you can order however you want. Want appetizer, entrée, then dessert? We can handle that! Want a selection of small plates to share? We’ve still got that too!
Chef Trevor has also added a number of new dishes to the menu. Curious about some of the current favorites? Check these out:
- Prawn Ravioli: housemade prawn ravioli with smoked paprika cream, baby carrots, and radishes.
- Meat & Potatoes: braised Hart Farms short rib served with housemade pommes frites (the best French fries you’ve ever had!) and béarnaise sauce.
- Watercress Salad: fresh watercress with local Back Forty Farms oyster mushrooms, housemade crème fraîche, and olives.
You’ll be seeing just as many, if not more, farm-fresh ingredients in our menu items. Chef Trevor has been working closely with many local farmers. In fact, our small plates will be so packed with local ingredients that we’ve taken to calling them Midwestern Tapas—dishes that showcase the best of our local ingredients in fun, creative, and delicious ways.
In addition to the new menu layout, you’ll notice that it will be changing less often. This way, you’ll have more time to get to know our menu and find new favorites. We’ll still have variety, though: just look for it in fantastic, rotating specials that will highlight the best of what’s in season each week.
So drop by and give our new dinner menu a try! Oh, and stay tuned for more details on the new lunch features we’re rolling out this week…
